WILLIAM F. SCHULTE
The death of William F. Schulte occurred Saturday evening at 8:30 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. Wilhelmina Schulte, 21 Olive Street, after an illness of eight months of consumption. Mr. Schulte was 36 years old and a native of Evansville, having lived there all his life. He was a molder by trade and a well known citizen. He leaves a wife and two boys, age respectively 9 and 7 years. He also leaves a half brother, Adam Ritz, three brothers, Edward, Ernest and Theodore Schulte of Evansville, and three sisters, Mrs. A. M. Schultheis of Haubstadt, Mrs. George Spiegel of Evansville, and Miss Carrie Schulte of Evansville. He was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church on Illinois Street from which the funeral will take place. Notes for DELYLIA FAIR CASEY:
* Apparently, Elmer and Gilbert were adopted by their Delylia's second husband, Charles W. Hickman, because they both took the Hickman last name. Their death records have them both as Hickman and their father as Charles Hickman, which isn't true. Their father was William F. Schulte, Delylia's first husband. They also have two half brothers, Dallas and Melvin, born in California where they all moved to. Charles and Delylia both must have moved right after getting married in 1905 because their son, Dallas, was born in California in 1907.
