Mrs. Bertha Schultz, 75, 309 Fulton St., died this morning at 7 o'clock in a local hospital following a long illness. Private funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Helke Funeral Home and that afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Christian Assembly Church, with the Rev. Earle Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. The body will be taken to the church after the morning rites.
Mrs. Schultz was born Dec. 8, 1880, in Germany, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Malacky. She was married in 1900 at Chicago to Rudolph Hanat, who died in 1906. She was married Oct. 17, 1907, in Chicago to Emil F. Schultz, who survives. The couple resided here the past 20 years.
Besides the widower, surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Albert Mathison, Chicago, Mrs. Lloyd Renneberg, Green Bay, and Mrs. John Linster, 3311 N. 10th St.; three sons, Arthur Hanat, 129 Teal Ave., Walter Schultz, 2005 Fifth St., and Edward Schultz, Milwaukee; two brothers, Otto Malacky, Hot Springs, Mont., and Edward Malacky, Peabody, Kan.; two sisters in Germany, and 10 grandchildren.
