German: The descendants of Martin Jacob Schaffnit, emigrated from Brensbach,Hessen,Germany in 1846,and settled in Perry, Pike Co, Illinois. This line also includes his wife, Mary Lutz.Philip Yockey left Schonau, Germany in 1831 and settled in Monroe County, Ohio.
Irish: George Ramsey left County Antrim, Ireland, about 1776 and settled in Washington Co., PA.Descendants moved to Harrison Co., Ohio and Boone, Iowa.The McMechans left County Down, Ireland in the 1880's and settled in Boone, Iowa.
Swedish: Anna Lindholme m.John Lindstrom, and their children, Frank Solomon, Anna Matilda, Esther, Charles, Emil, Freda, and Jennie, born in 1880's and 1890's; settled in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Unknown: Rock, DeMoss, McCracken of Fleming Co.,Ky from 1760's on
John Riley Baker,b.1833 in Rockingham Co,VA, moved to Monmouth, Illinois.Joseph Pierce lived in Peoria Co. Illinois in 1870's.
