I have been researching the Phelps family, the Line which I am a part of.I have not been able to find where my Phelps ancestors first came from.My great grandfather, Boyd Phelps was born in Tyrell Co, North Carolina, on Oct.15, 1804. He married Clarissa B. Robinson in 1833, in Ohio. His parents, perhaps, were born in North Carolina, too. I am trying to find out who his parents were and also who his siblings were.I found a Joshua Phelps that had a son Boyd, born about 1804, but other dates were not logical, (marriage etc.)
