John Jarboe's daughter Mary, married Major William Boarman and moved to Charles County, the seat of the Boarman family's vast estates. Her husband had come to Maryland as a boy of 15yr. He spoke the tongue of the Indian tribes in the area and served a interpreter for the Colony. He was in the Lower Assembly and High Sheriff for Charles County. Mary was just a young girl when she married and he was many years her senior.
