Notes for WARREN ARNOLD REYNOLDS: Warren Arnold Reynolds was born on August 31, 1933 in Stockwell, Oneida, New York on the family farm.He attended grade school at East Frankfort Union Free School and then graduated high school in Ilion. He spent many Summers of his youth in Raquette Lake, NY, where he met Charlotte Iona Gage of Herkimer.In 1953 Warren joined the United States Air Force and was trained as an Electronics Technician.During his four year term he was stationed at Sampson AFB in Geneva, NY; Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi; Kindley AFB in Bermuda; and Griffiss AFB in Rome, NY.On December 15, 1955 Warren and Charlotte were married in Bermuda.After Warren's Honorable Discharge from the USAF, he and Charlotte lived for a short time in Schuyler, NY and then for many years in Ilion.In 1957 Warren gained employment at General Electric in Utica, NY as an Electronics Technician.He took many night classes at Utica College of Syracuse University and progressed to an Electrical Engineer.He received three patents on electronic subsystems that were later used in the U.S. Space Program.In 1970 he went to work for Cogar Corporation in Schuyler, NY. There he received several more patents on electomechanical computer devices.Cogar was purchased by International Computers, Ltd. where Warren held the position of Divisional Director of Product Development and Engineering.In 1984 he went to work for Par Technology in New Hartford, NY.There he held the position of Vice President of Engineering and later as Vice President of Quality Control. In 1984 Warren and Charlotte separated.Warren moved to Rome, Oneida, NY for about a year and then to Raquette Lake, NY.He retired from Par Technology and founded R.A.M. Services, a Mechanical Contracting business in Raquette Lake.He took up residence with his companion, Elaine LaCroix of Bennington Vermont.They maintain two residences: a house in Raquette Lake which was designed by Warren, and built by Warren with the help of Elaine's son, Danny Sachau; a home on Old Lupton Road in Whortonsville, Pamlico, North Carolina.As the years progress,Warren and Elaine spend more time in the warmer climate. Throughout Warren's life he has had many interests and hobbies, including:hunting, fishing, trapping, fly-tying; golf, and gardening.He is an avid reader as well as a very skilled carpenter and woodworker. In North Carolina he purchased a small trawler and commercial fishing license used for shrimping and netting fish for the seafood industry as well as personal use.
