The State of Texas Bastrop County}}Know all men by these presents that I Michael Young of the County and state aforesaid for and in consideration of my nautral affection as father for his son and co heir with my other children I have this day given and bequeathed unto my son Anderson Young of said county and state aforesaid a certain piece or parcel of lnad lying and being situated on the Lampasas river in Bell County being a fraction of the third of a league of land Class 1st granted to Francis S. Mudd by Anson Jones President of the Republic of Texas on the 9th day of January 1846 and afterwards for a valuable consideration bargained sold and conveyed to me the said Michael Young the aforesaid third of a league of land wherefore I the said Michael Young of the siad county and state do hereby bargain give and bequeath unto the said Anderson Young all the land that I have not previously sold and by dded legally conveyed to any person or persons included in the boundaries of said third of a league in the north east side of said Lampasas river as far as to include the river to the high water marks in the south side of said water ???? the same more or less and these presents will warrant and defend the title of the same to heir and his heirs forever.

{The State of Texas County of Bell}Before me J.F. Beach, a Notary Public and for said county personally came A.D. Ray and S.L. Harris both to me known who acknowledged to me that they had signed and sold and conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto the said John Redfern his heirs and assigns the following pieces or parcels of land towit lying and being situated in the county and state aforesaid one lot of land No. I being the south east corner lot in the town of Youngsport located in the upper end of Youngs Prairie being a part of the head right survey of land patented to Francis S. Mudd and also a two acre lot situated in the same survey and described as follows the NE corner thereof in a ?? in the channel of a ?? forty or fifty varas S from the SE corner of the aforesaid town lot, the distance from said corner corner more or less thence south with the direction of the E boundary line of the aforesaid town lot. To the top of the N bank of the Lampasas river a stake for the SE corner Thence up the river as far as a parallel with the E boundary as aforesaid shall include ten acres thence N with said E parallel line to a corner equa distant with the E boundary of said 10 acres survey. for a good valid and warranted title to the aforesaid premises I herein and by these presents bind myself my heirs and legal representatives to warrant and forever defend the same from me my heirs and legal successors and any claim or claims lawfully claiming the same is any part thereof.
